From the Configuration menu, click Global Config Parameters.

These settings affect functionality of ALL stores in a MultiStore installation.

GlobalConfig NameDescription
AllowAffiliateFilteringThis setting determines whether Affiliates function on all stores or if they can be mapped per store. If this is set to Yes, Affiliates can be mapped specifically to stores.
AllowCustomerFilteringIf this is set to No (recommended), a customer that registers on one of your MultiStore sites also becomes registered on all other stores in that instance. Their login, addresses, order history, etc will be shared across all of the stores. If set to Yes, the customer must register independently on every store.
AllowEntityFilteringIf this is set to Yes, entities (categories, manufacturers, departments, etc) will only show up on the stores that they are mapped to.
AllowGiftCardFilteringThis setting determines whether Gift Cards function on all stores or if they can be mapped per store. If this is set to Yes, Gift Cards can be mapped per store, and customers will receive an 'Invalid Gift Card' message if they try to use a Gift Card on a store it is not mapped to.
AllowNewsFilteringIf this is set to Yes, News Articles will only show up on the stores that they are mapped to.
AllowOrderOptionFilteringIf this is set to Yes, Cart Upsells will only show up on the stores that they are mapped to.
AllowProductFilteringIf this is set to Yes, Products will only show up on the stores that they are mapped to.
AllowPromotionFilteringThis setting determines whether Promotions function on all stores or if they can be mapped per store. If this is set to Yes, promotions can be mapped per store, and customers will receive an 'Invalid Promotion' message if they try to use a coupon/promotion on a store it is not mapped to. See this page for information about Promotions.
AllowShippingFilteringIf this is set to Yes, fixed Shipping Methods will only appear on the stores they are mapped to. If this is set to Yes, make sure that every store has at least one shipping method mapped to it or customers will be unable to check out on stores without a mapped shipping method! Real Time Shipping rates cannot be mapped per store!
AllowShoppingcartFilteringIf this is set to No, customers can add products from multiple stores to a single cart, and check out on any of those stores. Note that AllowCustomerFiltering must also be set to No for this to function.
AllowTemplateSwitchingByLocaleIf this setting is set to Yes, the stores in this install will be able to switch to another skin when a customer chooses a locale. This should only be enabled if you have multiple locales and have created different masterpages for each of your locales (eg. template.en-us.master, template.en-gb.master, etc...). Enabling this when you do not have multiple locales or when you have not create multiple masterpages that vary by locale can hinder the performance of your site.
AllowTopicFilteringIf this is set to Yes, Topics will only show up on the stores that they are mapped to.
BuySafe.EnabledTo enable buySAFE set this to Yes. If this is set to No, buySAFE will be disabled.
BuySafe.EndPointThe buySAFE API endpoint. Please do not change this setting.
BuySafe.GMSYour buySAFE GMS (Gross Monthly Sales average).
BuySafe.HashThe buySAFE Hash value is the unique identifier for your buySAFE account. Please contact buySAFE if you have any questions.
BuySafe.RollOverJSLocationThe buySAFE javascript location. Do not change this value.
BuySafe.TrialStartDateThe date on which your 30 day BuySAFE trial started. This is for your reference only and changing this value will have no effect on the trial period.
BuySafe.UserNameYour buySAFE user name. This will be populated automatically when starting the free trial.
EnableSENameOnlyURLs Set this to true to allow the site to recognize product and entity links that contain the SEName without an ID. To use this feature, you must guarantee that every product and entity in your site has the SEName field populated in the database and that each SEName is unique among the products or entities of the same type.
KeyEncryptionKeyThis is a system level option only. Do not change this value, or you will no longer be able to recover encrypted data.
URLModeThis operates across all stores - cannot be varied. Please note that no matter which option you choose, modern URLs will always be recognized. Options are: LegacyOnly (if selected, the store will maintain a URL structure to match earlier AspDotNetStorefront versions - note that when a new page is generated, if there is no corresponding legacy page, then a modern URL will be generated). Modern with Legacy 301 Redirects: All pages will have a modern URL structure, but anyone arriving on a link to a legacy URL will be smoothly redirected. Modern Only (default): The store(s) will only generate and recognize a modern URL structure.
